Lo chocante, lo no inmediato, lo que produce miedo, inseguridad, es atractivo. Los procesos naturales tampoco se rigen por criterios de estilo, aplican unas reglas y dan un resultado aditivo. Y eso es lo interesante y bello.
Al tratarse de Lanzarote y su zona volcánica reciente, el paisaje era fundamental en este proyecto. Referentes como el color rojo, las cicatrices o las costras son evidentes, pero se trabajan desde una óptica desprejuiciada, dejando plena libertad a las posibilidades que ofrecen.

What is shocking, what is not immediate, what produces fear or insecurity, is attractive. The natural processes are not regulated by style criteria. They make use of some rules and give an additive result. And that’s what it’s interesting and beautiful.
It is Lanzarote and its volcanic area that we are talking, so the landscape played a key role in this project. References such as the red color, the scars and the crusts are obvious, but they are worked with from a unprejuciced perspective, giving full freedom to the possible opportunities.
