La primera etapa de este colegio, en la comuna de Lo Espejo, es del año 2008. Se tenía prevista una segunda etapa, cuya construcción se consluye en el año 2014. La nueva etapa se compone de la extensión del llamado volumen principal (aulas y comedor) hacia el norte y de la inclusión del volumen básica (aulas de básica y kinder) hacia el este.
Esta etapa asimila los sistemas constructivos de la primera: estructura de pórticos de hormigón y muros que ayuden a la estabilidad frente a sismos; tabiques interiores de volcometal y solución modular para el cerramiento exterior. Se crean tres nuevos patios para los diferentes niveles y se mejoran los existentes.
The first phase of this school, in Lo Espejo district, is from year 2008. A second phase was expected, whose construction ended in 2014. This new phase consists on the extension of the so-called main volume (classrooms and cafeteria) towards the north and the construction of the basic volume (younger students and kindergarden) towards the east.
This phase continues the same constructive system as in the first phase. There is a main concrete structure to stabilize the building against earthquakes, and a secondary system with interior walls and a modular solution for the exterior envelope. Three new playgrounds are created for the different levels of the site and the old ones are improved. A third phase is currently developing.
