Industrialised production, cheaper construction materials, the digital revolution or the globalization have made possible important improvements. But it has also become into extreme inequalities. The challenge now is spreading the development to every level of society.
More public spaces, better and more affordable houses, good connected peripheries, pollution and temperatures rise caused by the climate crisis or the digital revolution are issues we need to address immediately.
In the middle of a global pandemic in the year 2020, all of this has come to the spotlight again, the society as a whole has experienced these concepts and we have seen the magnitude of the problem.
This is a proposal for a new field of opportunities for the communities in need. It consists on a network of urban attractors combined with a process of urban public space expansions. The goal is amplifying the space for the citizens.
These public space amplifiers provide new possibilities of good quality houses and all the necessities that the community may have. Depending on those needs, the configuration of the spaces will change.
It is a completely flexible scheme. The number of levels, their height or the amount of rooms may differ on each neighbourhood.
